![]() Thales, Since V9.2 of Foxit Reader,we have added the "Preferred Save As location" option in preferences dialog box. According to your request,we suggest you choose to save as PDF file by using 'Ctrl+Shift+S' key combination or press the "Save as" button in Foxit Reader's quick access toolbar(it is an icon with a pencil on it),it would meet your requirements. You have mentioned that you need to save as document to location where you last saved a file before. Then when you go to "File"tab in Foxit Reader>click on "Save as" to save as exiting opened PDF file (or click on the save as icon (the one with a little paper on it),please refer to attached screenshot:11.jpg),it will be saved into the preset location that you have set in Foxit Reader's preferences by default.Ģ:If you don't set any save as location in preferences window,when you go to "File"tab in Foxit Reader,click on "Save as"to save as PDF file,it will be saved into the folder where contains the current opened file by default.For example:A.pdf is from A folder,B.pdf is from B folder.When you save as A.pdf,it will be saved as into A folder by default.When you save as B.pdf,it will be saved into B folder by default.ģ:If you use quick shortcuts(Ctrl+Shift+S)to open save as dialog box or click on "Save as"button in Foxit Reader's quick access toolbar(it is an icon with a pencil on it,please refer to attached screenshot:22.jpg),pdf file will be saved as into the most recent used save location(the last location that you have selected before).For example,you have saved as A.pdf into "C:\Foxit" folder,then you open another B.pdf file from "D:" folder,click on 'Ctrl+Shift+S' to save as the PDF file,it will also be saved into "C:\Foxit" this folder by default. ![]() ![]() Since V9.2 of Foxit Reader,its save as location follows the following rules:ġ:If you have set the save as location in preferences dialog box (Go to "File"tab>"Preferenences">"History">"Preferred output location" to set a location there>click"OK"to save the setting.). ![]()
